Joe Farmer (born December 30, 1992) is an American football offensive guard for the Minnesota Vikings.

College career

Farmer was a two-year starter at Virginia Tech. He was a 5* prospect coming out of high school.

Draft

Farmer was selected with the 13th overall pick of the 2015 NFLHC Draft. He became the highest draft pick in Jets history. Immediately following the draft, he signed a 5 year $45 million contract.

2015 Season

Farmer immediately took the starting right guard job for the Jets.

2016-2018 Season

Farmer continued his strong play, soon becoming the second highest rated player on the Jets outside of Alvis Brumm. He qualified for his first Pro Bowl and earned his first All-Pro honors during the 2018 season; additionally, he made his first Super Bowl with the team.

2019 Season

Farmer continued to be one of the league's best guards; he was ranked as the 2nd best guard in the league for the 2019 season by PFF with a 91.2 grade (David Wilson was first with a 93.6). Fellow Jets guard David Schlereth ranked 7th with an 89.1 grade. He made his second Pro Bowl and second All-Pro.

2024 Season
