After taking over in the middle of the 2021 season, [[caesari]] took a program sitting at 3-4 and got them to a bowl game, finishing the regular season at 6-6. 2022 promised more of the same, but Nebraska caught fire and went 11-3, including winning the B1G. Unfortunately for Nebraska, they were edged out of making the playoffs, and ended up losing the Rose Bowl to Oregon. Still, it was the second conference championship in school history, the most regular season wins, and was certainly an overachievement for a team picked to finish 8th in the B1G that year.
