Rankings from Coaches Poll

The UCLA Bruins 2016 Season represented the UCLA Bruins in the 2016 CFBHC Season. This was the fourth year of play for the Bruins. The team was coached by first year head coach DStack11 and played their home games at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

UCLA entered the 2016 Season un-ranked and with a new head coach in DStack11. The Bruins were coming off a disappointing 2015 campaign where they finished 5-7 and didn't make a bowl game for the first time in school history. The Athletic Director had confidence that DStack11 would be able to put together a good season and get UCLA back on the path to Conference Championships.

The Bruins reeled off five straight non-conference wins and headed into Pac-12 conference play with high hopes and a #13 ranking. UCLA traveled to Salt Lake City, UT to face the Utah Utes and dropped their first game of the season in a close 14-10 loss.

UCLA then went on a second winning streak of the season and won six straight conference games including a 13-7 win over rivals USC Trojans to snap a two game losing streak to the Trojans. The Bruins' successful season did not result in a Pac-12 Championship game appearance however as the single conference loss to the Utah Utes allowed Utah to represent the South Division.

The Bruins were invited to play in the Sun Bowl against the #13 Pittsburgh Panthers in El Paso, TX. UCLA won 34-21 and capped the 2016 season with a 12-1 record in DStack11's first season in charge.
