Rankings from Coaches Poll

The UCLA Bruins 2018 Season represented the UCLA Bruins in the 2018 CFBHC Season. This was the sixth year of play for the Bruins. The team was coached by third year head coach DStack11 and played their home games at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

UCLA entered the 2018 Season un-ranked. After a disappointing 2-10 record from the previous 2017 season, but a 12-1 record in DStack11's first season in charge in 2016, UCLA fans didn't know what the 2018 season had in store for them.

The Bruins then got win and after win to start the 2018 season and climbed to #13 in the country and a 7-0 record before finally falling against the Utah Utes in Salt Lake City, UT. Despite the loss, the Bruins got back to their winning ways and beat Washington, Arizona, and Cincinnati to get to 10-1 and 5-1 in the Pac-12 conference.

The regular season finale was a showdown with rivals USC Trojans with the winner taking the Pac-12 South Division title and a trip to the Pac-12 Conference Championship Game. Despite the game being played at home in the Rose Bowl, the Bruins fell to the Trojans 28-17. USC did go on to win the Pac-12 Conference against Oregon.

For the post-season, UCLA accepted an invite to play the [Kansas Jayhawks]] in the Cactus Bowl played in Phoenix, AZ. The Bruins won their third bowl game 24-6 over the Jayhawks.

Unfortunately for UCLA after the conclusion of the 2018 season, head coach DStack11 accepted the same position at Florida State. DStack11 left with a 25-13 record and a 2-0 bowl record leading the Bruins.
