Rankings from Coaches Poll

The 2018 season would see the ECU Pirates return to the top of the AAC as they would win their second Eastern Conference title. The Pirates under ObliviousLAX's leadership, would also return to its first bowl appearance since 2015. Going 7-0 in conference play, ECU would ultimately lose in the AAC Championship game to Houston. Following the disappointing bowl loss, ObliviousLAX would resign as the Headcoach of the Pirates.
