The 2014 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise's inaugural season in the National Football League. After an 0-2 start, Miami ran the table the remainder of the season, capturing the top seed in the AFC playoffs. After defeating their division rival, the New York Jets, 23-17 in the Divisional round, the team lost to the Oakland Raiders in a thrilling 34-32 contest in the AFC Championship Game.
