The 2018 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise's 5th season in the National Football League. As the defending Super Bowl champions they followed up with a 12-4 record and a Wild Card berth, where they beat the AFC North champion Cincinnati Bengals 38-6. However, they lost a close game in the Division Round to their rival New York Jets 17-19.

The end of the regular season saw turmoil as first-year coach FSUAlumni abruptly quit the position, followed shortly thereafter by Soluna. The NFL approved the purchase of the team by then-Texas A&M coach smckenz3; ironically he was in the midst of agreeing to coach the Kansas City Chiefs when he learned of the approval and had to back out. smckenz3 handled all front office duties for the Dolphins' playoff run, then hired HAFFnHAFF and vtgorilla afterwards to handle GM and scouting duties respectively.

The Dolphins made the playoffs as a Wild Card and defeated the Bengals 38-6 before losing to the Jets in the Divisional Round 19-17.
