The 2024 Seattle Seahawks season is the ninth season for the franchise in NFLHC.
Unfortunately, head scout Qupax decided to leave the franchise shortly after the regular season began. Head coach NDIrish21 also departed soon after at the beginning of the 2024 hiatus. With Jieret in charge of all front office matters an entirely new coaching staff was hired at the end of the hiatus, led by notable offensive guru Andy Reid.
The Seahawks took really well to the coaching change, roaring out of the gate post-hiatus and winning eight of nine games. Star running back Marcus Williams and a stingy defense led the way. But injuries mounted up; defensive tackles Collin McCartney, Jeffrey King, AND Rhad Ryland all suffered season-ending injuries as did wide receiver Derrick Schwartz, Seattle's trade deadline acquisition.
After their 23-17 win over Chicago in week 13 the Seahawks had a four-game lead in the division, but three straight losses to the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers put them in jeopardy of missing the playoffs. They had to defeat the Arizona Cardinals in week 17 and they did so, winning comfortably 35-17.
That set them up for a rematch with the Green Bay Packers, who they shocked with a big 31-10 win in week 6. Seattle didn't score 30 this time around, but with the Seahawk defense limiting the Packer offense to 216 total yards and picking off Jason Johnson twice they didn't need to winning 16-6.
Seattle's season ended at Monarctronics Field, falling to the Washington Football Team 29-23 in a wild battle that went to overtime.
